MIDLAND ANTIQUES FESTIVAL REPORT

Well, what a weekend for weather!!!  When we got to Midland, it was sprinkling. But, it was just light enough that we could get the canopy up and some items for sale that did not matter if they got wet... We just got canopy up and under cover and boy did the rain let loose!!!  So, we got in the motor home and had to wait about two hours before we could finish setting up... Finally, around 8 p.m. we were done...

Then, Saturday  there were wind gusts up to 50 miles an hour, I really believe some of them were worse.
And, then Saturday night when we were putting the sides back up it got a little worse.  Well, thanks to a very nice man and his wife across from us, ( Roger & Willie) we survived.. They gave us 4 ratchet straps and some really long stakes, so we ratcheted from one side of the tent to the other and then Louie put one from middle of tent to ground... And, it saved us!!!!!   thanks to some great neighbors!!

Well, about sales... It was another great weekend!!!!! Louie sold the window cupboard below first thing saturday a.m. to Tonya (one of our loyal customers)... She just loved it, thanks Tonya.. And, I sold the retro looking oak chair below, a beehive, baskets, enamelware, and tons of smalls... Louie also did good with his handmades... So, thanks to all for another great weekend!!   We are deciding today if we are doing the tractor show in wauseon ohio or Allegan...  Will keep you posted
